With our birth we begin to express ourselves to our environment. This joy of expression accompanies us throughout our lives. We want to be creative and experience creativity. Therefore I paint what I feel and with great excitement I look at what surrounds me.

Nicht nur die Malerei selbst, sondern das gesamte kreative Umfeld des Gestaltens und Darstellens interessiert mich seit meiner Kindheit. So habe ich mich vielen Stilen mit diversen Beweggründen zugewandt und darin Inhalt für meine künstlerische Sicht gefunden. Durchgängiges Thema ist dabei das maritime Umfeld und die Freude am Sein.

Not only painting itself, but the whole creative environment of designing and performing has interested me since childhood. So, I have turned to many styles from various motives and found content for my artistic view. The maritime environment and the joy of being are a consistent theme.

Um kreativ zu bleiben, verfolge ich keinen bestimmten Malstil. Es ist der dynamische Malprozess, der mir besonders Spaß macht. Also führt mich weniger das Befolgen eines durchdachten Plans, sondern ständiges Aufbauen und Niederreißen der Bildelemente ans Ziel. Dieses ist erst erreicht, wenn alle Elemente an ihrem Platz und durch das Finish lebend miteinander verbunden sind.

In order to remain creative, I do not follow a certain painting style. It is the dynamic painting process that I particularly enjoy. So, it is not so much following a well-thought-out plan that leads me to my goal, but rather constantly building up and tearing down the picture’s elements. This is only achieved when all the elements are in place and are connected to each other in a living way through the finish.
